This festival is a month-long, family-friendly program that focuses more on fun than fright, although a few chills and thrills are in the works. Rather than a single attraction, Northern Nightmares will offer a variety of activities, most of which are free to the public.
"I’m a huge fan of this holiday," said Ron Carter, President of the non-profit theater group, "So developing this festival was sheer pleasure. My kids grew up with cemeteries cropping up in the front yard and zombies crawling across the kitchen floor at this time of year. But it’s all in fun and we are having a great time putting together this year’s festival.”
