The Art Center officially opens The Underground Gallery 2010 schedule with The Gothic Show, Friday, January 29th, celebrating the 201st anniversary of Edgar Allen Poe. The event will feature Gothic themed art, fashion and live performances.
Along with the featured work of local artists, there will also be live readings of Poe's work and live entertainment. Performing live will be two local bands, Sick Twisted Debauchery and Suffer Your Charm.
will be a $5.00 cover charge for this event. Light refreshments will be served.
The door will open at 6:00 for this event. The live readings will begin at 7:00 PM, followed by the live performances of the featured bands. People are encouraged to wear gothic fashion to add flair to this fun event.

The current Cold Winter, Hot Jazz art exhibit, as well as the Vanessa Latour solo art exhibit and the Jimmy Bashline Memorial Display will remain on display in the Rittelmann (Main) Gallery through Feb. 19.
The Art Center is located at 344 S. Main Street, Butler, PA 16001 (across from the Butler Post Office). Normal operating hours are Wednesdays and Thursdays, noon to 6 PM, Fridays noon to 9 PM, and Saturdays noon to 4 PM. |
