Sunday, 10/3: Slippery Rock Golf Club & Events Center

  • Start time TBD

  • Day one features a picturesque and challenging course, format calls for a best 2 or 4 scores at 80% Index.

  • About Slippery Rock Golf Club & Events Center: A semi-private facility that offers an excellent golf course at affordable rates. They also feature an indoor golf simulator and tempo walk golf carts that automatically pull your clubs along with you. Enjoy a cold drink and dinner at the Twisted Tavern to end the day.

Monday, 10/4: Butler Country Club

  • Shotgun Start at 10:00 am
  • Day two features a spectacular and historic 130 acre property with lush greenery and delightful fall foliage. In the evening, enjoy a reception for golfers at The Hilton Garden Inn.

  • About Butler Country Club: Established in 1908, Butler County Club is a member-only club featuring golf, tennis and swimming.

Tuesday, 10/5: Cranberry Highlands Golf Course

  • Shotgun Start at 10:00 am
  • Day three features a well-manicured course with a contest of best 1 of 4 scores at 80% Index. 

  • About Cranberry Highlands Golf Course: A par-70 championship course featuring multiple tees, ample fairways, and large undulating greens. This course was rated the #1 municipal golf course in the country. There will be an award ceremony at Cranberry Highlands to conclude the tournament.

Details: For this golf event you and your team (three amateurs) must have official handicaps and you will be paired with a PGA Professional. If two people want to play, a third teammate will be assigned. 

The cost for this golf tournament is only $300 per player. The registration fee includes playing 18-holes of golf at three golf courses, meals at all facilities, two-night accommodations and an evening reception dinner at the Hilton Garden Inn located in Cranberry Township, an Adidas tee gift, prizes, and the opportunity to improve your golf game with tips from a PGA professional.

About Our 2020 Outing

The 2020 Butler County Pro-Am Fall Golf Classic was held September 28-29 at two golf courses: Butler County Club and Cranberry Highlands Golf Club. We hosted 77 golfers and 19 teams. Multiple individuals scored hole-in-ones, eagles, and birdies making the competition between golfers fierce and the camaraderie enjoyable.

About The 2024 Butler County Can-Am Games

The Can-Am Police-Fire Games is a multi-sport, Olympic-style event that features traditional sports and competitions that include skills used in first responders’ day-to-day work. The Games will have competitors from fire and police departments, emergency medical service providers, Homeland Security, Border Patrol, corrections officers, and more. The Can-Am games are expected to see about 1,000 participants from the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and Canada and will benefit Special Olympics Pennsylvania.
