Butler Outdoor Club

The Butler Outdoor Club  promotes outdoor education and provides year-round outdoor activities in Western Penna. and surrounding areas.  These activities are geared for all levels and are designed to provide recreation and foster a better understanding and responsible use of the outdoors. Our activities include hiking, backpacking, biking, birding, canoeing, kayaking, skiing, snow-shoeing, camping, and trail maintenance.

September - Family oriented festival featuring local ethnic foods from tacos, gyros, stuffed grape leaves, spinach pie, baklava, nachos, egg rolls, fried rice, fried pickles, cheese sticks, onion rings, fried jalapeño poppers and hot sausage to smoked turkey legs.

Annual summer theater production includes young people from 10-24 and works with them to promote the performing arts by utilizing their talents in the theater venue.   Productions are held at Succop Theater (BC3).

June - Each year we hold multiple events to promote the good times, music, and vehicles from the 50's and 60's eras. The Cruise-a-palooza is the biggest event and is held at the Farm Show grounds. Activities include live entertainment, food, a DJ, and a 50/50 drawing. Sponsored by the Rodfathers of Butler.
