Ways to Warm Up | Part 3

Saxonburg Coffee Co., located on Saxonburg’s quaint Main Street, just opened up in 2014.  I’d say they are a big success already!  The building is adorable and what we found inside was even more pleasing.

Cute atmosphere.

To warm up from the chilly morning, I got a mocha and my coworker got a coffee.  We were both very satisfied with our drinks.  I was especially happy with the peanutbuttery masterpiece pictured above.  It’s gluten free and contains an entire Reece’s cup!  Probably not something you’d want your kid to eat for breakfast, but definitely a perk of being an adult!

Check out their specialties… frozen creamsicle… cotton candy… definitely going to have to return!

Another great warm-up spot is The Arrogant Bean, located on Route 8 south of Butler.  It may warm you even better than some other coffee shops because they have a drive-thru!  You can stay in your nice cozy car.  We however, did not.

We got a hot caramel apple cider, a caramel macchiato and a quite large grasshopper cookie.  The cookie was even better than it looks and the drinks were awesome as well.  I felt like I was drinking a caramel apple - a great choice if you’re nostalgic for the Big Butler Fair.

They have these, too.  GIANT cake pops!

Donny B’s BBQ was also parked out front when we visited.  Nothing beats BBQ with after dinner coffee and treats in the same location.
