Saxonburg 185th/175th Anniversary Celebration

Saxonburg is celebrating the 185th anniversary of its founding by John Augustus Roebling and the 175th anniversary of Mr. Roebling being granted a U.S. patent for his wire rope process. Activities that day include a morning parade along Main Street with a historical theme (honor guard, Knoch H.S. band and other musical performers, floats, fire equipment, historical cars, farm equipment, and much more) followed by an afternoon street party including German music groups and food and other vendors. The Saxonburg Museum will be open during the afternoon.
