Pushing the Limits Reading, viewing, discussion series

The Library's successful “Pushing the Limits” discussion series featuring books, video and special guest speakers will begin the 2019 session on Saturday, August 24. The 4-part series is open to all adults and teens in the community and has been developed with funding from the National Science Foundation. With an overarching theme of real people, real stories, and real science, this series strives to connect us with one another and the world around us through lively conversation, stories from our community, and sharing from our everyday lives. The 2019 themes are Transformation, Tradition, Heritage, and Motion. special guest for the August meeting is Kathy Luek of the Harmony Museum and the book discussion will be on "The Hundred-Foot Journey" by Richard C.
