Overview

Join a naturalist for this FREE program every Tuesday morning from 9:00-10:00 am. We will explore around the park - let's see what birds we might find, and anything else that catches our eye! This is a great way to watch the changes in the landscape and the varied animals that make Buffalo Creek Nature Park and the Butler-Freeport Community Trail their home from season to season. What might we see today?

Registration is requested so we can best plan. No experience necessary, just bring your curiosity and binoculars if you have them; we'll have some to borrow if needed. Meet at the Pavilion to start the exploration.
We will start with a walk around the park and then move up to the trail. Grass around the park made be wet in the morning so be sure to have proper footwear to best enjoy your walk.
