Overview
Welcome to our Open Wheel Time, designed specifically for those who have prior experience on the wheel OR have completed at least one of our pottery wheel classes. This session is ideal for individuals who are already familiar with the basics or an experienced potter and wish to continue practicing and honing their skills.

Class Details:
Duration: 2 Hours (Reserves a wheel, & clean-up)
Suitable For: Artists looking for more time on the pottery wheel to practice and hone their skills. ALL ARTISTS MUST have taken a wheel class at CURIO before registering for this class.
Cost: $20 per person to reserve the wheel, $4 per lb. of clay that will be fired *you do not pay for clay that will be reclaimed Additional trimming by staff members $7

What to Expect:
With exclusive access to our pottery wheels, you can immerse yourself in the therapeutic and rewarding art of throwing clay. This time provides the perfect opportunity to refine your wheel skills at your own pace, free from the constraints of a structured lesson.
While there is no formal group instruction, our knowledgeable instructor will be present to offer guidance, answer questions, and provide assistance as needed. Feel free to explore various techniques, experiment with different forms, and let your creativity run wild.
Please note that the cost of the class covers your wheel time, bisque firing, glaze, and glaze firing. Additional charges apply for clay poundage used and if additional trimming is required by staff. Whether you're sculpting functional pieces or expressing yourself through abstract art, our pottery studio is an exciting space to find your artistic voice.
We'll provide glaze options and guidance for adding the final artistic touches to your piece. Artists will have the option to glaze pieces at a later date or have them glazed before pick-up. We know your schedules are busy and we will help you pick what option is best for you!
