Butler County Tourism’s 2nd Annual History Day, Saturday, May 13
10 Attractions Throughout The County To Participate
(ZELIENOPLE, Pa., April 26, 2023): Butler County History Day returns for its second year from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, May 13! Butler County’s history is represented and showcased through ten different attractions throughout the county!
Visitors are encouraged to pick up a Butler County History Day Passport at their first stop of the day. The attractions are separated into two geographical loops to make navigating through Butler County’s historic past easier. At each stop visitors should get their passports stamped. Those with three stamps will receive a small gift and will be entered to win a $25 Butler County Tourism Gift Certificate.
Loop 1 consists of the following stops: Butler County Historical Society’s Little Red Schoolhouse, The Maridon Museum, Washington’s Trail 1753 at Senator Walter Lowrie House, Butler Old Stone House Region AACA, and the Mars Area History & Landmark Society.
Loop 2 consists of the following stops: Evans City Historical Society, Historic Harmony’s Zeigler Log Cabin, Historic Harmony’s Visitor’s Cabin, Zelienople Historical Society’s Buhl House, and Zelienople Historical Society’s Passavant House.
Important Note: To be eligible for a small gift and the drawing, Passports must be stamped at any of at least three stops regardless of Loop.

We encourage everyone to learn more about Butler County’s history.”
