You might already be familiar with the Big Butler Fair and the Regatta at Lake Arthur, but Butler County has events all year long!

    June (Fathers Day Weekend) - The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival is a premier annual event that attracts Jeep enthusiasts from all over the Mid-Atlantic region. The group’s goal is to create a signature annual event celebrating Butler, Pa.’s role as the birthplace of the jeep.

    The 6th annual Butler County Home Show will be held April 7-9, 2017 at The Family Sports Center on Rt. 68.

    September - Family oriented festival featuring local ethnic foods from tacos, gyros, stuffed grape leaves, spinach pie, baklava, nachos, egg rolls, fried rice, fried pickles, cheese sticks, onion rings, fried jalapeño poppers and hot sausage to smoked turkey legs.

  • Go Green Festival plus Electric Car Show & Cruise

    September - Annual fair bringing together vendors who supply renewable energy for home and business, as well as speakers providing educational information on the viability of using wind, solar, and geothermal energy sources.  Owners of electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid cars are invited to register and display their vehicles.

    July - The event, celebrated for over 49 years, has grown to one of the largest in the area and welcomes as many as 40,000 guests each year. We encourage you to tour the historic sites, enjoy the free concerts, explore our unique stores, and dine at our fine restaurants and cafes.

    August - This annual event includes a rodeo parade, bareback bronc riding, calf roping, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, bull riding,  team roping, and much more.  This event is rain or shine!!

    This annual event takes place the first weekend in August and is focused on opportunities to get out & get active with families & friends of all ages. Enjoy live entertainment, land & lake events, kids activities and more.

    The Rodfathers of Butler

    June - Each year we hold multiple events to promote the good times, music, and vehicles from the 50's and 60's eras. The Cruise-a-palooza is the biggest event and is held at the Farm Show grounds. Activities include live entertainment, food, a DJ, and a 50/50 drawing. Sponsored by the Rodfathers of Butler.

    May, August, and October - The Steam Show has a large variety of activities for all, including: gas engines, steam engines, tons of tractors, large traction engines, pedal power, steam building and tractor pulls. Sponsored by Northwest PA Steam Engine & Old Equipment Association.

    July - The Fair is always over the 4th of July!  The Big Butler Fair is a PA Century Fair and has been in existence for over 150 years.  It is one of western Pennsylvania's biggest fairs.

    Butler Farm Show

    August - This event showcases Butler County's farming community. Farm-related activities include judging, exhibits & demonstrations, animals, arts & crafts, and farm products.

    Evans City Oktoberfest

    September - This annual event is held over three days, in Evans City.  Festival consists of crafts, food and entertainment daily.  Other activities include community worship service, Little Miss and Mr. Oktoberfest and parade.

    SeptemberThis is a free street festival featuring children's activities (balloon sculptures, pony rides, face painting, pet rock painting, a treasure hunt and more).
