Portersville

North of Pittsburgh, along Route 19 lies the small borough of Portersville. Though the town is less than one square mile, there are several quaint shops and attractions for visitors to enjoy. The Portersville Steam Show is held each May, August and October, showcasing the local interest in steam engines. The main attraction to the Portersville region is Moraine State Park and its beautiful lake, where more than a million outdoor enthusiasts travel each year.
