Celebrate Butler County's heritage in popular culture as the home of George A. Romero's NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. It's a reunion, film festival and convention in the place it was filmed with the people who helped make it. This year we are hosting inside a brand new modern events center venue and adding a roster of LIVING DEAD ALL-STARS to make an All-Star team of Romero and Living Dead stars. The new venue sits on a filming site of Romero's 1973 film, THE CRAZIES, which happens to also be very near the Evans City Cemetery, Home of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD!
A fan convention like no other, celebrating the works of George A. Romero, Featuring a reunion of both the places the movies take place and all of the people who made them, from the lead actors to your favorite screen zombies, to the people behind the scenes that made it all happen. It's all here in the form of a huge fan gathering, convention and film festival.

LIVING DEAD WEEKEND EVENTS
NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD film screening of the 4K restored version as distributed by Janus Films/Criterion, with LIVE Cast Commentary! You’ve asked for it, it’s coming! We will be showing NOTLD in the movie room of the Events Center with a panel made up of the cast and crew of the film. We will dig deep into the production of the film and I promise we will all learn something new from it. Friday, Oct 14, 9:00 PM. Included with the VIP pass for the weekend. We will offer separate tickets for those without the VIP Pass.
FILMING LOCATION TOURS
This is a guided tour of the filming locations featured in Night of the Living Dead & The Crazies. Your tour guide is noted film location expert, Lawrence DeVincentz. The tour includes a bus ride and hosts visits to locations not usually open to the public, including the private land where the original farmhouse in Night of the Living Dead house once stood. At each location, there will be a discussion, and a chance to take pictures.
LIVING DEAD WEEKEND EXHIBITS
Living Dead Weekend’s All-Star guest list for Evans City Oct 14-16 includes the screen used Motorcycle and Sidecar combo from DAWN OF THE DEAD. This side car can be seen in multiple shots from the biker mall raiders scenes, including one with Tom Savini as the character Blades, where he rides, standing in the side car, slaying the passing zombies. The famous Harley Davidson cycle has been restored to its 1978 glory and will be available for photo ops all weekend.
HORROR VENDORS
There's a whole range of cool collectibles and memorabilia. Vendors from across the country bring their Horror Merchandise, From Autographs to Zombie Figures Custom-made jewelry items and Awesome art, Movie Posters and Monster Masks. Hundreds of Horror and Halloween-themed items on sale.
