New Board Members and Revamped Executive Board
BUTLER COUNTY TOURISM & CONVENTION BUREAU ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD MEMBERS AND REVAMPED EXECUTIVE BOARD. Terms End for MacFarlane and Taylor.
BUTLER, Pa. (June 20, 2022): The Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau added two new board members, and approved a new Executive Board, at its monthly board meeting Thursday, June 16.
Tracy Rittle and Dustin Drew will serve three-year terms as new board members and may serve an additional consecutive term. Rittle and Drew replace Nancy MacFarlane and Wil Taylor, whose terms have expired.
Rittle is the owner of Lil Birdy’s Antiques & Decor located on Route 8 south of Butler. Rittle previously worked in district management for Rite Aid, and has experience in store openings, hiring, and loss prevention. She says her passion is helping others in her business and also enjoys collaboration with other businesses. This board seat represents Shopping.
Drew currently serves as Park Manager with Moraine State Park & McConnells Mill, Jennings Commission. He looks forward to carrying on the tradition of having a State Park representative on the board and to bringing a different perspective to the board. He has nearly 20 years of experience working with state parks, and nine years with Moraine State Park. This board seat represents the Great Outdoors.
The board also confirmed the following as members of the new Executive Board: Erica Sabatini, of Domenico’s Restaurant, as Chair; Neil Glausier, of Burgh’ers Brewing, as Vice Chair; Chris Cole of Slippery Rock University, as Treasurer; and Rich Hixon, of the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex, as Secretary,
MacFarlane was a member of the board since 2016 and served as its Chair the past two years. She owns and operates The Perfect Piece Home Furnishings in Zelienople. Taylor joined the board in 2016 as well and works for the Jennings Environmental Education Center, had served as Treasurer on the Executive Board.
