The Worsley Store closed in November, 2014, after being in business for 87 years. A fire in March, 2016, left the building beyond repair. The store and upstair apartments were demolished in November, 2016. The vacant lot has been repurposed as the Worsley Community Garden, a demonstration of neighbors helping neighbors. We all hope that the site will, again, be the location of a thriving Butler business, but in the meantime, we convert an eyesore to an asset.
