CURIO Art Gallery & Studio is the areas premier contemporary art gallery north of Pittsburgh whose mission is to make art approachable for the community. Rotating art exhibits by regional mid-career artists are featured every 6 weeks. Be sure to come during the Art Socials and experience the current exhibition while meeting the artist. If you are looking for a break from shopping, don't forget CURIO runs art classes and workshops in the two dedicated art studios taught by career artists and PA Certified Art Educators with a heavy focus on Art Education. Classes range from one-night projects to weeklong workshop experiences. Our studio spaces host all ages and even a dedicated ceramics studio! All are welcome to join one of our many classes or register for a time slot to invite a private group to create art. CURIO focuses on art education through techniques, materials, and experience rather than the typical craft projects. The gallery and studio spaces create a unique and exciting space that integrates combined passions of art, education, and community!
